Santhosh Prathap  is an Indian film actor who works primarily in Tamil cinema. He is acting  various roles in the movies like Action, Adventure,Comedy,Crime, Drama, Fantasy, Historical,Thriller, Horror and other genres. He is also working in other regional film industries of India.He got Awards for his films.his acting career commenced with a brief phase of portraying antagonistic characters in Tamil films.

After pursuing MBA, Santhosh briefly worked as a model then made his acting debut with Kathai Thiraikkathai Vasanam Iyakkam (2014) directed by R. Parthiban. Portraying a struggling director who wants to make a mark in cinema, his performance was praised by critics who also praised the film's screenplay.

After a gap of two years, he made his comeback with Dhaayam (2017), a thriller which was set completely in a single room. Then he appeared in a horror comedy film Bayama Irukku (2017) which was a great commercial comeback for him . 

He is currently doing projects like Naan Avalai Sandhitha Pozhudhu, Podhu Nalan Karudhi.
